Eligibility requirements

  • NC resident
  • First-time or move-up buyer
  • Income ≤$134,000
  • Purchase price ≤$385,000
  • 640+ credit score
Insider tip

The NC Home Advantage DPA is forgivable at 20% per year — after 5 years you owe nothing. Move-up buyers are eligible too, unlike most state programs that restrict to first-time buyers only.
