Eligibility requirements

  • Employment: honorably discharged veteran seeking work in IL

Illinois has a tiered property tax system — 30%–49% disability gets $2,500 exemption, 50%–69% gets $5,000, 70%–100% gets $5,000, and surviving spouses get full exemption. File with your county assessor.
