Eligibility requirements

  • Florida resident
  • Own and occupy property as primary residence as of January 1
  • Must have Florida drivers license or ID at property address

Apply by March 1 at your county Property Appraiser office. Also triggers Save Our Homes cap — assessed value cannot increase more than 3% per year.
